Top Five Oils for Incredible Hair

I don’t know about you, but I love bathing my hair in rich, wholesome oils. There are all sorts of oils out there that can be very beneficial to your hair and scalps health. There are many ways to use oils as a part of your hair care regimen. Hot oil treatments are a great way to add moisture to the hair, it also nurtures the ends of the hair to help prevent damaging split ends and softens the the hair. You can use oils to massage the scalp with, seal in moisture after applying water based moisturizer, as a pre-poo before shampooing and also as a hair treatment.  Below is a list of few of my favourite oils to use and the benefits of using them.

 1) Coconut oil:
This is one of the best natural nutrients for hair. Not only is it very moisturizing, it also provides essential proteins to strengthen and nourish damaged hair. Regular scalp massage with this oil can prevent dandruff, lice and dry scalp.

 2) Olive oil:
This rich in monounsaturated fatty acids oil is an excellent conditioner to moisturize, soften and add shine to hair and helps to prevent hair loss. Because olive oil is so rich in vitamin E and other powerful antioxidants, it has tremendous healing and preserving properties that can help restore and retain hairs health.

 3) Jojoba oil:
This oil has the ability to deeply penetrate the scalp and hair shaft. It is the next best thing to Sebum, the oil your scalp naturally produces. Jojoba oil is great for anyone that suffers from dry, itchy, flaky scalp; this amazing oil also helps develop new hair cell growth!

 4) Argon oil:
This oil is getting a lot of buzz and that’s because of the great benefits it has for your hair. It is rich in vitamin E and contains omega 3 and omega 9 unsaturated fatty acids, that provides nutrients to the hair. It is said that Argon oil is so effective that it surpasses jojoba and olive oil! Argon oil is immediately absorbed by the hair and it restores the lost moisture, it also acts as a shield for harmful UV rays and protects the hair from environmental pollution.

 5) Grape seed oil:
Lightweight odorless oil, that is great for all hair types. It is quickly absorbed by the hair, it is moisturizing, and it is rich in vitamins, minerals and proteins and can be used as a heat protectant as it can withstand heat up to 425 degrees.

Treat your hair with one of these beneficial oils for better hair health, or mix a few together for a really great deep treatment
