Product: Kenneth Bernard Finish Hairspray in medium hold
Claims: Medium hold hairspray is fast drying and leaves no residue. This finishing spray provides a flexible, touchable hold for a natural look and leaves your hair with a beautiful reflective shine. Uses advanced tru-last color technology to protect and shield your treated hair from color loss and
fading.
Packaging: The hairspray comes in your standard can; it has a very professional, clean look, with a matte black finish and black glossy lid.
The written information on the can is very visible with an easy to read font.
Product is dispensed easily with a nice even flowing mist of spray.
My thoughts on the product: First and foremost, the smell is to die for! I’ve actually used it as an air freshener to give my room a fresh sent of what smells like a mix of vanilla and chocolate, not to mention clients love it as well. It is definitely a lasting smell, that will linger in the hair and you will get a nice whiff of it when hair is tossed by the wind. The Kenneth Bernard medium hold hairspray dries quickly little is needed to keep your style in place and long lasting for several hours. Hair is definitely flexible after use and not sticky to the touch, neither does it leave a residue, even after combing, however the more you use the stronger the hold. Because of the strength of its hold, it is not the easiest hairspray to comb though. Curlier textures should avoid combing out the spray to prevent breakage and split ends. Hairspray washes out easily after shampooing.
How to use: Spray 25-30 cm from dry hair, direct away from eyes and spray is short burst. Layer product for extra hold and support.
Claims: Thermal Protection Spray penetrates the hair shaft and forms a protective barrier to prevent damage caused by flat irons and curling irons. The formula provides style memory, leaving hair soft and shiny. Uses advanced tru-last color technology to protect and shield your treated hair from color loss and fading.
Packaging: Product comes in a soft plastic spray pump bottle with a matte black finish and a clear cap. Products come out in a fine mist that disperse evenly and covers large areas. Because of the soft plastic, I find that the bottle is hard to grip, causing your hands to slip. As product is sprayed out, the bottle loses its shape forming dents and forces you to use two hands in order to get a good full pump. I also noticed the design on the bottle starting to wear off due to friction from trying to grip the bottle.
My thoughts on the product: The thermal protectant has a similar smell to the hairspray, non-sticky, moisturizing and detangles the hair easily. Use sparingly, too much can weigh fine hair down. The results after flat ironing is very smooth, soft and shiny hair that is light with lots of movement. I’ve used the Kenneth Bernard Thermal Protectant with heat up to 450 degrees and find that it protects the hair well; natural curls revert back beautifully with no damage.
How to use: Apply liberally to each section of hair to prepare for thermal styling.
Claim: Texturizing powder is the best way to add body and texture to all hair types. It gives hair a matte look with natural movement. Uses advanced tru-last color technology to protect and shield your treated hair from color loss and fading.
Packaging:
The Kenneth Bernard Texturizing Powder is packaged in a black glossy box, which list the ingredients, product info and how to use. The texturizing powder itself is contained in a sturdy, plastic container, small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. Like the other products it has a matte black finish, it also has a sifter top for controlled use which I love. The only down fall is that it does not list how to use the product directly on the bottle, it could be due to the size of the bottle, therefore it is listed on the box. However, the ingredients and a warning message are listed on the bottle which is great for safety reasons.
My thoughts on the product: This odorless, lightweight texturizing powder indeed gives your hair that matte finish look. I’ve used it on clients to tease hair for added volume in place of my Big Sexy Hair What a Tease Back Comb in a Bottle. What I love about this powder is that it gives you the volume and body you need without sacrificing movement or affecting heat styling. Once worked through hair, it dissipates easily and quickly without leaving visible residue.
I had a client worry that it may look like dandruff in the hair but I assured her that the powder is nearly transparent and once you work it through the hair with your fingers, comb or brush, you are left with a great, residue free style.
How to use: Sprinkle directly on to dry hair at the roots for lift and volume. Apply throughout your hair for amazing fullness and texture.

I've never heard of these products, or of Chatters. But I noticed they do have a place in London. The hairspray sounds fabulous, I love vanilla!

DeleteI just bought almost $300 worth yesterday, and yes I too was lured in by the mall kiosk guy and paid too much. HOWEVER, If he hadn't pursued me and convinced me of the quality of this product I would still be looking for something that works for my skin. haircare
